At the centre of every noisenight is a one hour(ish) global classical set. We platform international soloists and ensembles while also giving opportunities to outstanding new artists. All noisenights take place in gig venues where you get to experience classical music up close.
Live music needs your backing more than ever. Backing a noisenight means getting tickets to hear the world's best performers in grassroots venues and being part of a community working for a positive future for live music. Putting it simply, you giving your backing will make this gig happen and secure you a ticket.
After a noisenight reaches its funding target, we'll e-mail all backers to confirm it and a small amount of extra tickets will be made available. Tickets are released in four stages, which increase in price the closer to the event they're purchased. Book early to get the best price.
the venue:
Faith in Strangers is one of Margate's hidden gems. Offering stunning sea views and sunsets, the bar features a modern discothèque loft space serving cocktails, draught beer, wines and spirits.
The 60’s modernist building was previously the home to Starlight Lounge members club and more recently Frank’s nightclub, before the current owners saved the building from decay in 2018.
the music:
Two of the greatest young guitar talents join forces for a rare live show. Alexandra Whittingham has been described by The Guardian as “a young 21st-century virtuoso”, and has recently signed to Decca Records after one of her live recordings received over 50 million plays.
She appears alongside Stephanie Jones, who was hailed by the legendary Sergio Assad as having a "magical sound with the deepest musical expressions". Expect to hear the two stars take turns to perform classic solo repertoire and experiment with new and old guitar duets.
