At the centre of every noisenight is a 60-90(ish) minute global classical set. We platform international soloists and ensembles while also giving opportunities to outstanding new artists. All noisenights take place in gig venues where you get to experience classical music up close.
Live music needs your backing more than ever. Backing a noisenight means getting tickets to hear the world's best performers in grassroots venues and being part of a community working for a positive future for live music. Putting it simply, you giving your backing will make this gig happen and secure you a ticket.
After a noisenight reaches its funding target, we'll e-mail all backers to confirm it and a small amount of extra tickets will be made available. Tickets are released in four stages, which increase in price the closer to the event they're purchased. Book early to get the best price.

South African cellist Abel Selaocoe is redefining the parameters of the cello. He moves seamlessly across genres and styles and combines virtuosic performance with improvisation, singing, and body percussion.
For this performance, Abel will present a rare solo show: a sonically immersive exploration of the musical works which inspire and drive him, using extended techniques and loops to build a layered soundworld of cello and vocals.
Abel is devoted to composing works and curating programmes that highlight the links between Western and non-Western musical traditions, broadening the horizons of classical music to reach a more diverse audience.
Since Abel’s first show with through the noise at only the third ever noisenight, he has regularly performed as part of his trio Chesaba and his quartet The Bantu Ensemble, as well as alongside a 15-piece chamber orchestra. This performance sees Abel return to the solo format for the first time since his debut show with through the noise back in 2021.

Cambridge Junction was opened in 1990 to the south of the railway station and on the site of the city's former Cattle Market.
In its 35 years of hosting gigs it has solidified itself as one of the country's premier live music venues, as well as a home for young people, local communities, and artists to make radical, inclusive and engaging shared experiences.
