IDRÎSÎ ENSEMBLE
Idrîsî Ensemble explore medieval textuality and orality in a programme of rare, endangered and never-recorded music. Old Roman chant, early polyphony, Corsican and Greek traditions intersect and offer the vision of a shared Mediterranean heritage. Navigating the dynamic between singer and scribe, they explore new frontiers in the performance of identity.

LEEDS MINSTER
Standing on the site of the oldest church in the city, the church now named Leeds Minster is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and in records dating back to the 7th century.
The current Grade I listed Gothic Revival building was consecrated in 1841 and, at that time, was the largest new church erected in England since St Paul’s Cathedral in London almost 150 years before.
