What's on this week: classical music in London

After taking March off putting on our own live gigs (whilst sorting out a huge summer and autumn season…), this week marks one month until noisenights are back in London - and we’re returning to our home venue, The Jago Dalston.

Milo Harper will join Aaron Akugbo (pictured above) for a set of brand-new arrangements for trumpet and harp. It’s going to be an incredible night of live music, with bands playing after their classical set into the small hours.

The award-winning Paddington Trio play music by Haydn, Brahms, and George Walker in a lunchtime concert at St Martin-in-the-Fields

Friday 31 March, 7.30pm

Vocal collective SANSARA span centuries in sound at the St Martin’s Easter Festival, with music by Palestrina, Harvey and Joseph Bates

Saturday 1 April, 2.30pm

Members of the Philharmonia return to South Kensington art gallery Cromwell Place to perform music by composers denounced by the Soviet regime


Wednesday 7 June, 8.30pm

Off the back of his award-winning recording in 2020, virtuoso pianist Pavel Kolesnikov performs Bach’s Goldberg Variations live
