Violinist Thomas Gould and the Britten Sinfonia give the BBC Proms premiere of Max Richter’s Recomposed: his celebrated 21st-century reimagining of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, which blends Baroque precision with hypnotic contemporary minimalism.

This performance is part of the BBC Proms, the world’s largest classical music festival. Taking place over eight weeks, the festival features performances every day until 9 September - most of which are at The Royal Albert Hall, in South Kensington.

The festival’s ethos is to provide high-quality and inexpensive concerts. For every concert, you can pick up tickets on-the-day for £8. They’re released at 10.30am for the performance that afternoon/evening. Find out more about Promming here.
