In a double bill, Manchester Collective presents a Steve Reich cult masterpiece plus a new work by Jasmin Kent Rodgman, followed by an immersive minimalist club night.

For the first performance of the night, the new work by artist and composer Rodgman is a natural counterpoint to Reich’s Different Trains. An exploration of speech, history and memory, Different Trains was premiered in the very same venue – Southbank’s Queen Elizabeth Hall – in 1988.

For the second event of the double bill, the show moves into the impressive brutalist surroundings of the Queen Elizabeth Hall Foyer for minimalist greats and reimagined classics into the night.
